CUENTOS SENCILLOS EN INGLÉS

Good morning kids!

Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros varios cuentos en inglés para que vayáis leyendo solitos poco a poco. Al igual que hacéis en español, es importante que os animéis a intentar leer un poquito en inglés cuando tengáis un ratito libre. Poco a poco os iré subiendo más cuentos, cada vez un poquito más difíciles, para que cojáis hábito de lectura y mejoréis la comprensión lectora.

LECTURA GRUPAL "THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG"

 Hi kids!

Como ya hemos terminado la lectura grupal del trimestre, hoy os publico el audiolibro del cuento que hemos estado leyendo en clase todos juntos: “The princess and the frog”. Así, si queréis, podéis volver a leerlo en casa con vuestras familias y escuchar de nuevo la pronunciación de cada palabra. Podéis explicarles también cuál es la moraleja del cuento, ya que lo hemos trabajado en clase y sabéis que es muy importante. 

Buscaré otro cuento para el tercer trimestre para que podamos leerlo en clase también todos juntos.

REPASO SOCIAL SCIENCE UNIT 5

Good afternoon everyone!

Hoy os publico en el blog el repaso de la unidad 5 de Social Science relacionada con el Sistema Solar. 

Los contenidos que hemos trabajado han sido los siguientes:

- Planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

- Dwarf planets: Ceres, Makemake, Haumea, Eris and Pluto. 

- Vocabulary: Sun, Moon, star, satellite, planet, dwarf planet, space and Solar System.

- The Earth movements:

          1) Rotation. The Earth takes 24h / 1 day to complete one rotation on itself. This causes the day and night. 

          2) Revolution. The Earth takes 365 days / 1 year to complete one revolution around the Sun. This causes the four seasons.

REPASO NATURAL SCIENCE UNIT 2

Hello kids!

Hoy os publico en el blog el repaso de la unidad 2 de Natural Science, en la que hemos trabajado:

- Health centres: doctor, nurse, psychologist, medicines, vaccination, and illness.

- Healthy habits:

1. Have a good hygiene: wash your hands, have regular showers and brush your teeth after every meal.

2. Do exercise and sport.

3. Sleep 10 hours every night.

4. Adopt good posture to prevent back pain.

5. Eat a balanced diet.

- Healthy diet:

Foods that provide energy are bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, etc.

Foods that help us to grow are chicken, eggs, meat, fish, lentils, cheese, etc.

Foods that provide vitamins and fibre are apples, cherries, tomato, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, etc.

We have to eat 5 meals a day. We also have to drink plenty of water.

- Prevent accidents: helmet, knee pads, googles and respect safety rules.
